A full family session from fun to finish!

We love to go away to lodges for our holidays. We have a fairly substantial list of requirements, the top one being a hot tub. I mean is it even a break without a hot tub?!

When I start the hunt I’ll go to a wee lodges with hot tub website and I’ll pop in a few filters. And do you know what sells me on a holiday home…photographs! ALL the photographs.

I hate it when I have a look at a lodge and they only add a few images.

I want to see what the kitchen looks like. I want to see the bathrooms. I want to see what the bedrooms look like and I’ll be honest - if the bedding is in anyway not crisp and white it’s a ‘hell no’ from me.

And I’m going to bet that when you are looking for a holiday/a dress/a new car/a handbag you do the same.

So whilst it’s great to see photos from a photographer of a whole heap of different sessions sometimes it’s just nice to see what a full gallery looks like from start to finish. You want to check that the photos that are in the gallery aren’t just one off’s, right? I mean, they might have one or two images that are great but the rest might be pretty meh. Nice hot tub…but dodgy bedding.

So…here’s a full gallery from start to finish.

We always start by having a bit of a giggle! It’s always about getting everyone a little more comfortable being in front of the camera and catching some natural expressions and fun interactions.

We get a few images where everyone is looking at the camera (the Grannies always love these ones!). Don’t worry - No one is being asked to smile in these images. I have a few tricks that guarantee proper smiles and hearty laughter!

But my favourites are the images where everyone is looking at each other…

We get a whole lot of individuals of the kids so YOU can decide which one shows their best expression.

The main focus for a session is to make sure your kids have fun because if they are then we’ll capture them at their very best and most natural. All you need to do is prep them that we’ll be having fun and be ready to let me wind them up!
